The three states of matter...do they matter?? Dive into the weird world of the SUPER COOL where gases become liquids and liquids become solids. In this fast-paced show, liquid nitrogen takes center stage in a variety of experiments with surprising results. Check out the Inter-Planetary Olympics - what is it like to bounce a racquetball or munch a graham cracker in the sub-zero temperatures of Pluto? Find out what causes matter to fizz, freeze, foam, and fly in the frigid zones of minus degrees!
Electricity is illuminated in a series of shocking experiments! Explore electrons and protons as the Van de Graaff generator creates a hundred thousand volts of hair raising excitement. Be amazed as a Tesla Coil turns on a light by invisibly sending electricity through the air. Find out where our electricity comes from and ponder the possibilities of green energy. The power of electricity has never been so positively charged up!
Heat! Light! Gas! Color change! Explode on the scene with RADICAL REACTIONS where flames are blue and green, rainbows exist in glass tubes, and dollar bills catch fire. In this dynamic show, chemical reactions abound in an exciting line-up that keeps audiences of all ages on the edges of their seats. See our presenter throw fire, watch an ordinary Ziploc turn into an exploding yellow bag, and fall in love with the foam fountain finale in this lively yet fact-filled demonstration!
Explore your fabulous five senses! Put your taste buds to the test, make "scents" of mysterious odors, open your eyes to illusions, and more! We will keep your brains busy as they integrate interesting information about how we perceive the world around us. This science show is specially designed for early elementary kids. Geared toward PreK-2.
